I got this guy, Will, to play the door-to-door preacher. He’s got this whole spiel about spreading joy through his religion. I told him to really lay it on thick, you know, make it super cheesy.
We started filming, and at first, Maya is trying to be polite. She’s giving him the whole “not interested” routine, but Will just keeps going. I’m behind the camera, trying not to bust out laughing because this is already gold. Then, Maya starts getting annoyed. Like, really annoyed. And that’s when things get interesting.
I had Maya grab some rope. Don’t ask me where she got it, she just did. Next thing I know, she’s got Will tied up. I’m filming all of this, thinking, “This is crazy, but it’s going to be hilarious.”

The Aftermath
After we finished, we untied Will, he was a good sport about the whole thing. We all had a good laugh, and Maya even gave him some actual cookies to take home.
