Oh boy, let me tell you about this Thursday night dinner adventure I had. It all started when my stomach started rumbling, you know, the usual “feed me” signal. So, I thought, “Why not check out what dinner deals are happening around town tonight?” Thursday’s kind of that in-between day, not quite the weekend but also not just another weekday, so I figured there might be some good stuff out there.
First, I grabbed my phone and started browsing around. I went through a bunch of different places, looking for something that sounded tasty and wouldn’t break the bank. After some searching, I realized that Ann Arbor has a lot to offer, especially being a college town and all. There were a lot of options!
My Dinner Mission Begins
I started hitting up some local spots. I mean, who doesn’t love a good deal, right? Some places had these “happy hour” things going on, even on a Thursday. Like, one spot was offering sangria for ten bucks and half-off appetizers. That sounded pretty tempting, I gotta admit. I jotted that one down as a possibility.
- Checked out a few diners. One of them, Northside Grille, seemed to have really upped their game. People were saying good things about their food and service. That’s always a good sign.
- Found this place called The Earle. Fancy name, huh? They serve Italian and French food. The menu had lamb chops and a whole bunch of other stuff that sounded delicious. It seemed a bit upscale, but hey, maybe worth a splurge.
- Then there was Peridot. I read some reviews, and people were raving about their appetizers. Someone mentioned fantastic seared something-or-other. Definitely intriguing.
The Decision
It was tough to choose, honestly. So many places, so many deals. But in the end, I went with Peridot. Those appetizers just sounded too good to pass up. And you know what? It was a great choice. I ended up having a fantastic meal without spending a fortune. They had a bunch of different options. The place had a really nice vibe, too.
So, that was my Thursday night dinner adventure. It’s amazing what you can find when you’re on a mission for a good deal. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for more dinner deals in the future. You never know what deliciousness you might stumble upon!
I thought I will try different restaurants next Thursday night to find more good deals. But all in all, a solid Thursday night, if I do say so myself.
