Okay, here’s my story about “the last dinner party vinyl”:
So, I’ve been seeing this band, The Last Dinner Party, pop up everywhere online. All-girl, five-piece, art-rock, you know, the whole deal. They got this cool vibe, so I figured I’d check ’em out. Started with streaming, as usual, and I gotta say, I was hooked. The music is great, super catchy, and a bit different from the usual stuff I listen to.

Then I thought, “You know what? These guys would sound even better on vinyl.” I’m a bit of a vinyl head; I just love the whole ritual of it, putting the record on, dropping the needle, that warm, fuzzy sound. Plus, I like having a physical copy of the music I love, kinda like a memento, you know?
So, I went on a mission to find their stuff on vinyl. First, I hit up my local record stores, but no luck. They had some CDs, but no vinyl. I guess they’re still pretty new, so maybe not a huge vinyl pressing run yet.
Next stop, the internet. I searched their official online store, and BINGO! They had a bunch of exclusive vinyl, along with CDs, cassettes, and other merch, like t-shirts and hoodies. They even had a bunch of different colors and limited edition pressings. Cool stuff, but a little overwhelming.
I ended up grabbing the standard black vinyl – classic, you know? Couldn’t resist a cool t-shirt, too. Placed the order, and then the waiting game began. I was checking the tracking info every day like a crazy person.
Finally, the package arrived! I ripped that box open like it was Christmas morning. The vinyl looked great, and the t-shirt was awesome. I immediately put the record on my turntable, and man, it was worth the wait.

I noticed some details on the inner sleeve that was kinda funny. There was a mistake in the songwriting credits. Someone called Emily Roberts was listed as “Robertson” for a few tracks. Guess even rock stars have typos, huh?
But yeah, that’s my whole saga about getting The Last Dinner Party on vinyl. It was a bit of a hunt, but totally worth it. If you’re into this band and you like vinyl, definitely check out their store. Just be prepared to want everything!
